About Grace

Grace Chiang is one part fearless creative, one part meticulously methodical idea architect. In her past life as a civil engineer, Grace developed a strong technical mindset and problem-solving abilities. Combining that with her love of entrepreneurship and music-making, you will find her at the helm of many kinds of creative projects. Grace started off as an assistant audio engineer at Echoplant Recording Studios in Vancouver, BC. While sharpening her skills in engineering, she ventured her own path as a music producer and songwriter. In 2022, Grace was one of six women selected for Music Publishers Canada's Women in the Studio National Accelerator program, which got her a featured interview in The Vancouver Sun. She continued to land notable opportunities including producing at the Songwriters Association of Canada Pro Songworks Camp 2023, being a part of the first ever Canadian all women/non-binary delegation to the NAMM Show in 2024 and 2025, and writing in the Yamaha Canada Music x She-Q Audio Sync Song Camp 2025. At the intersection of music and screen, Grace has landed notable opportunities including producing an original song "Something New" with Filipino-Canadian artist Argel MDR, which received a Leo Award Nomination for Best Musical Score for the short film DTF?
Always striving for growth, Grace has been mentored by industry giants including Grammy-nominated vocal engineer/producer Simone Torres (Becky G, Shakira) and Grammy-nominated mix engineer Matty Green (Dua Lipa, Ellie Goulding).
