The inaugural EXNW Global Summit took place at the JW Marriott Parq hotel in Downtown Vancouver, hosting hundreds of delegates from all over the world working in film, television, gaming, VR, music and more. In partnership with Gold House, we had the pleasure of presenting many powerhouse BIPOC creatives including Shannon Lee (Bruce Lee Foundation), Bing Chen (Gold House), Jeremy Tran (Gold House), Barbara Chirinos (Telefilm), Tonya Williams (Reelworld Institute) and Janice Chua (Imagine Entertainment). Attendees became part of a vibrant new community of producers, funders, agents, talent, executives, and policymakers. Throughout the Summit, they wereequipped with insights, connections, and inspiration to launch them into new creative horizons. I was the stage manager and coordinated a full day of programming featuring over 50 speakers.
